I took this self portrait, shadow photo, while playing blissfully unaware in the garden while pregnant with Jesse. In reflection there is so much more symbolism behind this photo as I recall the day I took it in comparison with how I feel today.
My belly was full,
My arms still pine
Does pain continue like the age of fossils?
I love this. The shadow is so detailed, and so is the pain. I love the lines about the pain fossilizing.
