about this series.

We did a release of pink balloons at Jordan's funeral and the way they flew up and out of sight was very poignant at the time and we have done it again at few times since. This release on the anniversary of her death was just as poignant as they leapt out of our hands and flew 'up' to Jordan, wherever she is. Our way of saying we love you, we don't forget you. These photographs are simple in design and colour, pure like our love for her. My sister captures her grief in words, I use photography. --Tania

  2. Beautiful, Tania. How lovely to see you submitting here. I think it is so important to hear from family members outside the parents of lost babies. The ripple effect is far and wide, that's for sure.
    Thanks for sharing.

  6. Absolutely gorgeous pictures... I bet your sister loved what you were doing. It's strange, sometimes I'm up to my neck in my own grief that I keep forgetting my family-member's own grief. Thanks for sharing and helping me remember.
