In Rachel's words, "Some of the inspiration behind Lyra's name was from the constellation Lyra. After she died, I take comfort in the stars and the light they shine down at night when it's sometimes the hardest. So, this was a piece we could have in our house that symbolized her and her place in our lives."
about the artist.
Rachel lives in Kansas with her husband of four years and a gray cat. They lost their first child, Lyra, at 30 weeks due to a cord accident on December 18, 2009. Rachel maintains a blog called Curls O Fred.
