Updates

Based on feedback, I decided to start a second traveling journal to leave my house on June 15th. You have that much time to get back to me if you are interested in participating. The journal itself is an 8"x8" scrapbook with slide in sleeves, so you can work ahead if you are so inclined. A second traveling gnome is accompanying this one too, so take a photo from wherever you are, and email it to me, so it can go in our traveling gnome photo album on Facebook. I have some old emails from people who were interested in the traveling journal AFTER I set the journey. I will email you with details of where you are sending the journal when you get it. Please email me with your address if you are interested  in participating at stilllife365days(at)gmail(dot)com. And use Travel Journal in the subject line, please. And if you expressed interest in the comment section, send me your address at the above email address too.

Also, I have two people interested in the group chat on Sunday about art, grief, creativity and all it encompasses. If you are interested in participating, it will happen at noon EST, on Sunday, June 6th. Please email at stilllife365days(at)gmail(dot)com with Live Chat in the subject line. I am not sure how this is going to be done, per se. I think we will discuss, and it will be posted after our chat. Either in google chat or skype.

And one more thing, I know a few of us here in the still life 365 community have Etsy or misi shops, or sell work on Red Bubble, or even have independent shops. I wanted to have a central location for people to find work created by babylost parents to buy. Some of the work sold in these shops are memorial work, or work created out of grief. I, for one, would love a central location for all those shops. If you have such a shop, please email me with your url and shop name and explain a little about the work you are showcasing and selling. Email me at stilllife365days(at)gmail(dot)com. Use Shop in the subject.

  1. i love the idea of a central location for the shops. i know that this is something i would have appreciated so much early in my loss. these things can be hard to track down in the fog. i wonder if, once you've created the "clearinghouse", glow in the woods would also link to it? it seems like the kind of resource that they might want to help make available. xo

  2. Yay for the travel gnome's secong world tour. He's so cool, he's gone farther than most people. Eh, I guess his travel expenses are a bit more reasonable than ours.
Thanks for giving this slacker another chance. I'm SO excited.
    xoxo
